I like the angular patterns formed by placing strips of blades in opposition. This negative space is contrasted and drawn into attention, by the blue panel, creating a series of diamond shapes. On the reverse side, the blue field displays a patterned wheel.
I built a structure that surrounds and supports this small altar.
I enjoyed using parts of vintage tools to make these patterns.
This sculpture can be enjoyed outside or inside. |
