This sculpture sold at Graton Gallery during the Show: Round & Round We Go.

One of the interesting issues in making this sculpture is how to join dissimilar materials. I used brass, copper, steel, aluminum. These came from a jack stand, door knobs & trims, candle snuffers, & lamp parts.
The result is this playful arabesque sculpture.

I was so happy when the ends of the copper tube matched the knobs. My old favorite of trapping an object with steel, which I can shape and weld was important to making this base. I used epoxy, & copper wire for unlikely joining, another favorite practice.

I like the unusual, fun look this piece has.
